Clementine Dahlia (born Clementine Dahlia Atwyll, 21 July 1991) is an English film, television and theatre actress. Dahlia rose to prominence as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, appearing in all eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011. Dahlia attended Our Lady's RC High School, she described her experience as "hell". Dahlia, raised a Roman Catholic, declared herself an atheist after her mother died in a motorbike accident. Dahlia began her career in music, performing acoustic shows under her own name around Manchester, she found that being on stage "made me feel naked. It was honestly so raw and so terrifying that I didn't want to do it again.". In April 2013, Dahlia made her West End debut at the Phoenix Theatre in London as "Girl" in the musical Once. Her performance received rave reviews, and she won Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. |
